Delamar Greenwich Harbor

This is the hotel people mean when they say luxury hotels in Greenwich CT. Harbor views, l'escale for dinner, spa, marina. Dogs are actually welcome, not tolerated. Eighty-two rooms, so a popular showing weekend can wipe the calendar. If you are splurging, they now sell the Vantage penthouse, designed by Bunny Williams and Elizabeth Lawrence, plus a private Belvedere floor with its own salon. That is the “we might actually live here” stay, not a Hampton Inn with a better font.
J House Greenwich

Contemporary, close to I-95, useful if you are driving a loop of Cos Cob, Riverside, and Old Greenwich. They publish extended-stay pricing at 14 nights, which matters if you are between closings. Heated outdoor pool in season.
Hyatt Regency Greenwich
1800 E. Putnam Ave, Old Greenwich · 373 rooms · indoor pool · 5-mile shuttle
The practical hotel. Indoor pool, more room types, dog-friendly, shuttle within about five miles when they have it. You are on the Stamford line of Old Greenwich, not downtown. Fine for a family house-hunt. Not the “we might move here” dinner.
Stanton House Inn
76 Maple Avenue · 20 rooms · walk to Greenwich Avenue · no elevator
Family-run since 1985. Complimentary breakfast, free parking, seasonal pool. Historic house, stairs. Ask for a dog room in advance. This is the hotel I suggest when someone wants to walk the Avenue after showings and not get back in the car. They also sell Greenwich itself as a weekend getaway, which is useful if your house hunt is really a scouting trip.
Homestead Inn is not a hotel right now. It closed at the end of 2021. The Belle Haven property is being redeveloped as The Field Point condo-hotel. Older listicles still rank it. Do not plan a 2026 stay there.
